Linda Liukas

Bio

Linda Liukas is an author, illustrator, and educator from Helsinki, Finland. Her Hello Ruby children’s book series, which has been translated into nearly 40 languages, brings a playful Nordic perspective to the sometimes-serious world of computer science. She previously worked with Codecademy and founded Rails Girls, a global community that equips women with tools to learn sketching, prototyping, and basic programming. Her latest project is a playground in Helsinki where kids can learn how computers work without a single screen.
