Open Mike Eagle is an Los Angeles based hip-hop artist, producer, TV host, podcaster, and comedian. The summer 2020 launch of his podcast network, Stony Island Audio, features What Had Happened Was, an interview series with 30-year hip-hop veteran Prince Paul, and the return of Secret Skin, his own guest-driven podcast. He also co-hosts the Funny or Die show Call & Response with Baron Vaughn. In 2019, he and Vaughn co-hosted Comedy Central’s The New Negroes, which featured Lizzo, Danny Brown, MF Doom, Method Man, and more as musical guests. His most recent solo release, What Happens When I Try to Relax, was released on his label AutoReverse Records in 2018.
