KSR X TCI IRL: How to make a living as an artist, presented with Babel Loft

Kickstarter, The Creative Independent, and Babel Loft organized an intimate conversation and workshop, offering insights and strategies on making a living as an artist.

The event was led by three Brooklyn-based creators:

• ​Elyse Fox: Mental health advocate, creator of Teen Vogue’s Soft Launch, and founder of Sad Girls Club

• ​Marcus J. Moore: Music journalist, editor, curator, filmmaker and pop culture commentator, author of The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America and High And Rising: aka the De La Soul Book

• ​Zenat Begum: Entrepreneur and community organizer; founder of Playground Coffee, Radio, Annex, and Wines
