TCI Turns 10

The Creative Independent is turning 10.

​When we launched the site on September 26, 2016, the first person we featured was writer and poet Eileen Myles. More recently, on July 28, 2026, we featured the writer and publisher (and chainmail artisan) Naomi Falk.

​To celebrate 10 years, join Eileen and Naomi, along with TCI co-founder Brandon Stosuy, for a free reading and conversation at Honeymoon Coffee Shop, a great independent coffee shop and bookstore, in Ridgewood, Queens.
