Midwinter Day Day
“Midwinter Day Day is more than a zine, as it is a combination of several mediums in addition to the writing. It’s also performance art, because I waited months to read Bernadette Mayer’s book so that I could read it on that exact date (December 22) and document the experience. It’s also conceptual printmaking (if that can be a thing), because I printed it on really old carbonless paper to further the concept of duplication, and to record time passing through the markings that the paper will eventually acquire.”
